Regression tests

iblep comes packaged with a suite of regression tests for ensuring data reproducibilty across machines.

To run the tests, from the root directory of the iblep source repository, run

./run_tests <install prefix> <mpi processes> <threads> <lime_extract_record>

where <install prefix> is the directory you passed to CMAKE_INSTALL_PREFIX, and lime_extract_record is a path to the lime_extract_record binary from the LIME package that Grid depends on.

This will run a set of tests across the main results executables of the package, validating each produced dataset against a set of bundled reference data.

Common requirements

All workflow checks launch through mpirun and need the selected executable, MPI runtime, and the archive files in the corresponding test/ directory. iblep-conn-lep uses h5diff and sqlite3. Disconnected checks use sqlite3 plus Python, numpy, and h5py for HDF5 comparisons.
